Who writes my report?
A specialist Doctor (a Radiologist) analyses your scans, compares them with previous studies and writes a report to the referring Doctors with their findings.
How does my Doctor get my results?
Reports are sent to your Doctor via a secure, encrypted email system called Healthlink. Reports are issued within 24 hours.
How do I get the results?
Your Doctor will normally discuss the results of your report with you, usually at your next appointment. Radiology reports can be complicated and easily misinterpreted. It is therefore important that the results are explained to you by your referring Doctor.
Where are the images stored?
We store the images on a secure server for future reference. Your Doctor can access these images on-line via our server.
We may also print your images on film or a CD. These films and CDs should be stored safely for future reference.
