Radiologist Vacancy
A Quality Practice
Radiology Tasmania was established
by Dr Pip Taplin in May 2007. We are an independent practice with two
modern sites in beautiful Hobart.
We offer MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-Ray services to patients.
In the last three years the practice has grown to employ 50 staff,
including seven radiologists. The success of the practice is due to the
quality of our service and reports.
Fantastic Opportunities
Pip Taplin (the gold medallist in
1995) has a keen interest in ongoing education and professional
development for radiologists and radiographers. To support this we have
invested in the latest technology (e.g. MRI) and the best staff
available.
Our referral base covers the whole of southern Tasmania, and consists of
GPs, Specialists, such as Oncologists, Urologists, Orthopods, and Sports
Medicine Physicians.
We do a lot of MSK work and have a great reputation. So there is the
opportunity for any prospective Radiologist to gain fantastic experience
in this area. We recently established a regular MSK meeting at our city
site, which is attended by a variety of doctors.
Our reputation for quality has meant we have attracted the last three
radiology graduates from Tasmania. In addition to the quality of our
reports, our practice offers exposure to all modalities, for all
doctors.
The performance of our recent graduates in the practice means we have
decided to offer a very competitive salary for recently qualified
radiologists to work with us.
However, we also need experienced radiologists who want to work in a
high quality practice, with a great lifestyle. Note: We don’t have any
on call or weekend work.
We are keen to speak with radiologists interested in contracts for 4 –
12 months, or radiologists who would like to join with a view to a
permanent position.
