Computerised Radiography (CR)
We use the latest Konica Minolta CR (Computerised Radiology) system.
This software is used to produce and review all scans and images. This technology enhances the images and significantly reduces your radiation dose.
How does computerized radiography different from normal x-rays?
- Images are produced with the aid of computers
- The images are then reviewed and reported on a high resolution computer screen
- These images can then be printed on to conventional x-ray film or disc
- The films or disc are usually available for you to take shortly after the examination.
Protecting your privacy
