CT Scans
Radiology Tasmania has a 2007 model Siemens Emotion 6 multislice CT scanner.
We can do all types of body and extremity CT's, inlcuding arterial phase, triple phase and CTPA's, but not coronary CT angiography. We use the gold standard in contrast - Omnipaque 300.

We will often be able to do the CT on the same day it is requested. Reporting takes a couple of hours, and then the report needs to be emailed or faxed. We can usually guarantee you get the report within the half-day. If you need it faster than this, please tell us and we will do it straight away.
If you would like us to phone you with an urgent result we can do that too - just write your number on the request form.
