Billing
The vast majority of our patients are bulk-billed. We bulk-bill all Xrays and all CTs. Only a couple of labour-intensive Ultrasound scans attract a private gap fee. These include Obstetric, Nuchal Translucency and Doppler Venous Incompetence scans. If these patients are Health-care card holders or pensioners, these scans are still bulk-billed.
Workers Compensation and MAIB studies do not attract a Medicare rebate and these studies attract a full private fee.
